Blaise Pascal ~ All men naturally hate each other. We have used concupiscence as best we can to make it serve the common good, but this is mere sham and a false image...
Brigitte Stegemann was an 83-year-old great-grandmother and a Christian. On July 10, she died through Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) program in Ontario. Diagnosed with terminal Stage IV stomach cancer, Stegemann had wanted to die naturally. But while her granddaughter and longtime legal representative, Brigitte Kranendonk, was away on vacation, medical personnel discussed MAiD with Stegemann. She was subsequently deemed capable of choosing MAiD despite allegedly being unable to answer basic questions about her own family. Canadian Catholic News reported that Kranendonk said her grandmother had originally rejected MAiD but was persuaded to request it during her absence. When Kranendonk returned and asked her grandmother whether she really wanted to die, Stegemann’s reaction was heartbreaking. “I’m supposed to die on Friday? They want to kill me on Friday?”, she reportedly asked through tears. Her family says she later repeatedly expressed regret, telling them she had made a …Hiroc’h
Where Jesus Is, His Servant Follows The gospel reading emphasizes that where Jesus is, his servant will also be. To be with Jesus, we must be willing to do the “little things” and die to ourselves, putting Jesus’ needs before our own. This means embracing the cross and suffering in this world, as Jesus did, to attain eternal life and glory with him in heaven. Fr. Saint François d’Assise | Favorite Moment Philippe Sly | Salzburg Festival 2026 Philippe Sly portrays Saint François in Olivier Messiaen's only stage work. In his personal favorite moment, Francis offers his soul, his weakness, and his body to God—in an attempt to experience for himself the suffering of Christ during the Passion. A moment of profound agony, which Messiaen musically takes to extreme heights and depths. Since the 1958 conclave² was a false conclave, it necessarily resulted in the election of a false pastor, the primary consequence of which—with all others following from it—was that all decisions made by this usurper were null and void. Thus, for example, the consistory that took place shortly thereafter to appoint new cardinals was null and void, which, by that very fact, rendered the 1963 conclave null and void, leading to a second impostor, and so on until the present day, when we have reached the seventh false pope. Likewise, the convocation of Vatican II was null and void, and all the decisions of this false council and their implementation were likewise null and void. Therefore, since John XXIII, everything has been false, null, and void. (Source: first comment)
Cathechism of Pope Saint Pius X ~ What should a Christian do who has been given a Bible by a Protestant? - He should reject it with disgust, because it is forbidden by the Church.
I wish I could give this post many loves and likes. I had two experiences with an old 1800's kjv book. And once when someone told me I should be a prot. I was not only disgusted but sickened by the words alone. The thought was rejected immediately! Now I know what to do with an old kjv from the 1800's that my son gave me he found. If I remember I will give to my Priests. I keep forgetting I have it because I put them in plastic and placed it where I rarely ever look or go into. Plus two tiny gideons. PUTTING THEM OUT OF MY SITE AND MIND!

On the Licitness of the Episcopal Consecrations of Archbishop Ngô Đình Thục During a Period of Interregnum I. The Exact Question We must avoid an overly simplistic formulation: “Can a bishop consecrate someone without a pontifical mandate?” Under normal circumstances, the answer is no. The real question is: Can a Catholic bishop, during a genuine interregnum of the Apostolic See, extraordinarily consecrate a candidate to the episcopate without a pontifical mandate that is materially impossible to obtain, when such a consecration is necessary for the preservation of apostolic succession and is carried out with the intention of preserving the Church? This is a much more precise question. And it is to this question that the sedevacantist answer may be affirmative. De la licéité des consécrations épiscopales de …
Chapter V ~ On Charity to Sinners [Whoso shall cause one of these little ones which believe on Me to stumble, it is profitable for him that a great millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depth of the sea. —St. Matt. xviii. 6 (R.V.). Deal not roughly with him that is tempted; but give him comfort, as thou wouldest wish to be done to thyself. —The Imitation of Christ, i. 13.] I ~ The example of St. Antony, showing how he valued a sinner who repented. It happened that a certain brother in the community of the abbot Elias fell into sin. The brethren expelled him from the monastery and he fled to St. Antony who then dwelt on the inner mountain. The saint kept him there some time and then sent him back to the monastery from which he had been cast out. The brethren, when they saw him, immediately drove him forth again. Then, as at first, he fled to St. Antony, and said to him, "My father, they will not receive me." Then the saint was grieved, and sent to …Hiroc’h
Saint Anthony the Great ~ "Then, as at first, he fled to St. Antony, and said to him, "My father, they will not receive me." Then the saint was grieved, and sent to the brethren a message, saying, "A certain vessel suffered shipwreck in the sea, and all her cargo was lost. Yet with great labour the sailors brought the ship herself to land. Do you now wish to push forth into the deep and sink the ship that has been rescued?"
"II ~ How the abbot Besarion desired to share the reproach of the Lord, of whom they said, "He eateth with publicans and sinners." A certain brother had sinned, and the priest ordered him to go out of the church and depart from the company of the brethren. Then the abbot Besarion arose and went out along with him, saying, "I also am a sinner."
